Debbie Wasserman Schultz thinks Democrats like Obamacare!

Yes, Debbie Wasserman Schultz is actually claiming that Democratic candidates will be running ON Obamacare, and not FROM it in 2014; from the Washington Examiner:

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who chairs the Democratic National Committee, believes Republicans will suffer politically in 2014 for their opposition to Obamacare…”Heck, yeah, I’m going to make sure that we run on that all across the country next year,” Wasserman Schultz said after listing what she believes to be Obamacare’s benefits for Americans.

Apparently Rep. Schultz needs a crash course in reality; the roll-out of Obamacare has been an unmitigated disaster. The Website is full of glitches and errors, hardly anybody is signing up, and many are losing their health insurance (Democrats are even admitting that Obama lied about keeping your plan); the American people realize that Obamacare is not something worth supporting, it is in fact a losing proposition. This can be seen in the case of Kay Hagan, an incumbent Democrat who is already seeing the negative effects of supporting Obamacare:

Incumbent Sen. Kay Hagan (D-N.C.) is near the top of national Republicans’ target list for 2014 — and a new poll shows her lead over her potential GOP challengers has all but evaporated. Against state House Speaker Thom Tillis, Hagan leads by only 2 points…She leads Rev. Mark Harris by 2 points as well…and nurse Heather Grant by 3 points…Hagan trails physician Greg Brannon, the Rand Paul-endorsed candidate in the race, by 1 point…That’s a huge difference from PPP’s September poll, which gave Hagan leads of anywhere from 12 to 17 points against all possible GOP challengers.

Perhaps Debbie should speak to Ms. Hagan about this strategy before next year’s elections arrive, I’m sure Kay Hagan would disagree with the chairperson’s opinions on strategy. Then again,  I do encourage Debbie to please, please run this play next year, as it will only make our candidate’s jobs a whole lot easier.
