Obama Admin Exempts Congress from Obamacare provision

If this doesn’t outrage you, nothing will:

Lawmakers and staff can breathe easy — their health care tab is not going to soar next year.

The Office of Personnel Management, under heavy pressure from Capitol Hill, will issue a ruling that says the government can continue to make a contribution to the health care premiums of members of Congress and their aides, according to several Hill sources. A White House official confirmed the deal and said the proposed regulations will be issued next week.

White House Dossier reports that this contribution waiver will save Congressional members and their staffers thousands of dollars a year in healthcare costs. So let me get this straight; Obamacare, with all its pages and requirements, the law which the Obama administration said was so great; not only will it be a huge trainwreck, but Congress will now be exempt from the monetary increase that We the People must endure. The Administration seems to forget that they work for  us, and if it is good enough for the people, you better be sure that it is good enough for our elected officials. But apparently the administration and congress don’t see it that way, they think they are more important than you or me; and that alone should be enough to get you steamed.

  1. I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own weblog and was wondering what all is required to get set up? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very web savvy so I’m not 100% sure. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Appreciate it|
